Workshop Technician

Sheffield Park

Workshop Technician responsible for all machinery regarding routine maintenance, electrical, brakes, engine performance, hydraulic performance. Performed machinery diagnosis, brakes, A/C inspection and repairs, hydraulic diagnosis, electrical diagnosis. Carrying out warranty work and repairs along with routine machinery servicing.

The role

  • Identifies mechanical/Hydraulic/Electrical problems visually and/or with computerdiagnostic equipment.
     

  • Performs tests on specific parts and systems to determine whether they are operating properly.
     

  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance, servicing on customer machines & internal demo and refurbishment machinery.
     

  • Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems.
     

  • Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics.
     

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
     

  • Carry out cutting unit regrinding.
     

  • Housekeeping in workshop, yard & warehouse.
     

  • To attend product and technical training events related to technical service and personal development training, as required.
